Orlando All-Stars Cheerleading Program 2009 - 2010
All-Star Cheerleading is designed for Competition Teams. Teams are separated according to age and ability. We accept kindergarten thru 12th grade. At OA we will compete 8-10 teams this season.
Coaches have final say on team placement.
Each team consists of 20 to 36 members and may carry alternates. Each team has a Head Coach and a Assistant Coach. Coaches have strong cheerleading and tumbling backgrounds, for more information go to Meet The Coaches.
The Commitment (Personal)
If you decide to participate on an OA Team, you must commit through April 2010.
Summer camp is 2-3 days long and is mandatory for all team members.
This is a team oriented sport, each member has a specific spot in each element of the routine. Teams work months to master their routine. Any absence can bring a routine to a halt.
Practice is mandatory unless permission is granted.
Additional practices will be scheduled during the season and team members are expected to attend.
We realize there will be conflicts with school, family, etc. These are exceptions and will be excused. However if you commit to OA we expect you to live up to that commitment. Do not commit to other activities that will interfere with your commitment to your team.
Once our competition schedule is finalized, you are required to attend all competitions. No exceptions.
All-Star Cheerleading is a challenging sport with many rewards. We work as a team, compete as a team with a goal to win as a team. We have fun.
